West Lancs Child Contact Centre

Some time ago I informed Ian Smith & some of you at Southport that the above would be opening in Skelmersdale. I have now been informed by Caroline Pendleton, who is to be managing the centre, that she is now accepting referrals.

Whilst I am very well aware that some Fathers and perhaps others will perhaps "Resent" having to use a Contact Centre when they have been in full unsupervised contact within a marriage or relationship, I DO HOPE that in some of the intransigent cases that come to FNF and both CAFCASS, The Family Courts and Resident Parents may be more readilly persuaded to order, recommend or accede to contact via this new facility.

I also hope that contact centres in general [and this one in particular] can be seen in a positive light by all concerned and by those who come to FNF for help in particular, seen especially as a step along the difficult road towards "The Resumption of Full Normal Contact".
